Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Calgary is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, train team members and ensure exceptional guest service at our SE Calgary location. This role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced quick-service setting, with opportunities for growth and development.

You will report to the Restaurant Manager, cover shifts during peak periods, monitor food safety, control costs, and uphold Popeyes standards while maintaining a friendly, fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in leading the team and ensuring adequate coverage.
• Complete shift documentation and follow sanitation and safety policies.
• Demonstrate a guests-first attitude and lead by example to deliver exceptional service.
• Help control costs by reviewing portion control and waste, and manage inventory.
• Ensure policies are followed during shifts and provide constructive feedback to team.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling and inventory management.
• Maintain brand standards and monitor food and labor costs.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is looking for Assistant General Manager.

Location:3909 17th Avenue SE in Calgary

For your success, you will receive certified training from Popeyes which will allow you to carry out tasks under Popeyes Standards & Procedures.

Our Assistant Manager report directly to the Restaurant Manager and are responsible for running a smooth operations while contributing their time towards the goal of the restaurant. You will be responsible for training and grooming employees and ensure that exceptional service is delivered to our guests.

Soft skills required: Passion for food and service, professional, positive attitude, good work ethics, time management, ability to take initiative and multi-task. Previous management, customer service and food experience is an asset.

What to expect in your role as an Assistant Manager

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in leading the team, ensuring optimal team member coverage and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor
• Complete all required shift documentation and follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Display a “Guests are first” attitude and lead as an example to make sure we deliver an exceptional guest service as a team.
• Help Restaurant General Manager control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing waste as well as ensuring.
• Ensure all restaurant policies are followed during the shift (e.g. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies) by working alongside team members on the floor at all times and give constructive feedbacks. Comply with and enforces all Popeyes Operational and Always Fresh standards.
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in hiring, training team members scheduling and ordering inventory
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining brand standards and controlling food and labour cost.
