SUMMARY:

Assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the store's human, physical, and financial resources to achieve store objectives, focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS:

• Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Collaborate with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are consistently met, including backroom operations.
• Assist in managing labour scheduling with the FSM, utilizing Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate for effective store operation.

HUMAN RESOURCES:

• Comply with Human Resources Standards.
• Support hiring processes in conjunction with the FSM, excluding Pharmacy staff.
• Maintain wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
• Promote Blue Culture, engagement, and motivate staff through core values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in inventory management and preparation.
• Ability to control expenses through sound judgment.
• Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous retail management experience.
• Ability to drive business performance by leading by example and supporting corporate programs.
