Reporting to the Director of Wellness, the Assistant Director of Wellness will work alongside the Director to lead a clinical team, providing care support and services.

What you’ll be doing :

You will be an integral part of the Aspira Management team, contributing by :

  • Collaborating with the Director of Wellness to promote and evaluate standards of practice; completing resident re-assessments, developing service plans, and organizing care conferences to ensure data accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Assessing resident care needs, developing care plans, and determining staffing and care fees.
  • Scheduling and adjusting staffing levels based on occupancy, resident acuity, and services.
  • Managing the Continence Care Program, including assessments and service transitions.
  • Supervising medication administration, conducting audits, monitoring controls, and training staff.
  • Covering for DOW absences.
  • Managing wellness team onboarding and education.
  • Building relationships with hospital staff and participating in outreach activities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Who you are :

An exceptional manager with a proven track record of results and continuous improvement.

A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with at least three years’ experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health.

Possessing good judgment, risk awareness, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

Strong technology skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
