Assistant Director of Wellness

Reporting Structure: Reporting to the Director of Wellness, the Assistant Director of Wellness will work alongside to lead a clinical team in providing care support and services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Wellness to promote and evaluate standards of practice; complete resident re-assessments, develop service plans, and coordinate care conferences to ensure data accuracy and up-to-date care plans.
  • Assist in scheduling and adjusting staffing levels based on occupancy, resident acuity, and service offerings.
  • Oversee the Continence Care Program, including assessments, orders, and service transitions.
  • Supervise medication administration, including audits, control monitoring, staff training, and drug security.
  • Manage coverage for DOW absences and oversee wellness team onboarding and education.
  • Develop professional relationships with hospital staff and participate in marketing outreach related to wellness services and aging in place philosophy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • An exceptional manager with a proven track record of results and continuous improvement.
  • A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with at least three years’ experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health industries.
  • Possess good judgment, risk awareness, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate strong technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
