Job summary

Entourage Ressources Humaines is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) to lead the EGD/slot department in the Greater Montreal Area. You will oversee daily operations, manage a team of attendants and technicians, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure optimal machine performance and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze floor data to drive machine placement, game selection and revenue initiatives while managing budgets and staffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience within an EGD/slot department
• Experience in a facility with 300+ gaming machines
• Strong knowledge of slot-machine performance metrics and revenue-generation strategies
• Ability to analyze gaming-floor data and translate findings into operational decisions
• Solid knowledge of casino policies, gaming regulations and fraud-prevention practices
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Excellent English communication skills; French is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the EGD/slot department and ensure high operational performance.
• Monitor condition, availability and functionality of gaming machines.
• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance and equipment replacements with technical teams.
• Improve gaming-floor layout, machine positioning and player experience.
• Lead and support EGD attendants, technicians, supervisors and management personnel.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and training.
• Promote a professional, service-oriented and collaborative work environment.
• Review key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Develop initiatives to increase revenue, player engagement and department performance.
• Assist with departmental budgets and expense management.
• Monitor labour requirements and operational costs.
• Contribute to business cases for new machines and upgrades.
• Participate in long-term planning for the EGD product offering.
• Ensure compliance with gaming legislation, regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain strong focus on customer service and the gaming-floor experience.
