Job summary

BrightPath Kids Lakeshore is seeking an Assistant Director to partner with teachers and families, ensuring a nurturing home-away-from-home for children. You will help manage operations, staff development, and compliance with provincial regulations.

Key duties include supervising staff, handling payroll and communications, and enforcing health and safety standards while maintaining strong family communication. A supportive team and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensing knowledge and health & safety compliance are required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Immunization requirements must be up to date.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Director with managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.
