A real estate investment company is looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee full-cycle corporate accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and treasury support. This role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and plays a key part in budgeting, intercompany accounting, and monthly close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and internal financial reports
• Support treasury and debt management activities
• Assist with financial statements and tax filings
• Maintain intercompany accounts and support fund flows
• Identify process improvements and assist with system implementations
• Contribute to internal control development and documentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational setting
• Strong IFRS knowledge is an asset
• Proficient in Excel; experience with systems like Yardi/ OneStream is a plus
