- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, proactively resolve issues, improve processes, advise on new products, systems, procedures, and controls, and act as a business advisor on various projects.
- Ensure the integrity of general ledger accounts and supporting records, oversee monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, journal entries, and budgets. Coordinate with the parent company to ensure policy compliance with US GAAP.
- Manage SOX processes related to financial closing, reporting, inventory, and vendor support, ensuring controls mitigate risks effectively.
- Oversee non-SOX processes to ensure compliance with SOPs and US GAAP.
- Lead technology initiatives, including automation efforts, within the controllership team.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, training, recognition, and performance management.
- Support audit and tax processes by liaising with external auditors and internal teams.
