Job Title: Assistant Controller

A real estate investment company is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee full-cycle corporate accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and treasury support. This role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and is key in budgeting, intercompany accounting, and monthly close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and internal financial reports.
• Support treasury and debt management activities.
• Assist with financial statements and tax filings.
• Maintain intercompany accounts and support fund flows.
• Identify process improvements and assist with system implementations.
• Contribute to internal control development and documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge is an asset.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with systems like Yardi / OneStream is a plus.
