A leading company in the finance sector is seeking a finance professional to manage divisional operations and drive financial results. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable, and supporting senior management with reporting and audits. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, a professional accounting designation, and experience in project accounting. Understand the divisional operations and how they drive the financial results.
Prepare revenue recognition schedules and related journal entries for software implementation contracts using the percent complete method.
Provide support to the divisional VP’s as needed.
Prepare information requests and respond to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
Assist in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of the monthly financial statements.
Review and analyze monthly results and assist in preparing reports for senior management.
Manage the group Accounts Receivable team.
Interact with internal and external auditors.
Assist with forecasting net revenues and operating expenses.
Assist in managing divisional work-in-process and accounts receivable, including oversight of the collections process.
Ensure that established control procedures are in place and identify control risks.
Assist in due diligence and integrating new acquisitions into the finance group.
Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.
