Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee all general ledger and accounting practices including inventories, fixed assets, and payroll allocations.
• Manage monthly close processes, including account reconciliation, record month end journal entries, and financial statement preparation. Perform accurate and timely month end bank reconciliations for all checking accounts.
• Manage the company's accounting, costing, analysis, budgeting, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, monitor financial records, and maintain accounts.
• Prepare support schedules to assist in income tax reporting.
• Ensure that accounting records are prepared, maintained, and reported in accordance with GAAP and that all ledgers reconcile.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely budgets, forecasts, and financial strategic plans.
• Conduct financial analysis to interpret trends, variances from budgets, and standards, providing advice in line with financial policy.
• Manage fixed asset records and depreciation accounts.
• Establish methods to ensure proper capitalization and expensing by class.

Job Requirements :

• Proven work experience in accounting or a related field.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of financial data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
• Ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines with strong organization skills.
• Proven experience in financial project management.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to all levels.
• Knowledge of federal tax regulations and reporting.
• Deep understanding of finance.
