Role Overview

Assistant Controller

You will work directly under the leadership of the Controller to mentor and support the accounting team. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for servicing our multifamily, Texas, and investment companies. The main role involves reviewing the work of the accounting team, preparing and reviewing reconciliations and working papers to support financial reporting, and leading initiatives to achieve our financial strategic goals.

As an Assistant Controller, you will mentor and support the accounting team, review work, and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also lead initiatives aligned with our strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and independent working skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system changes, tax filings, and multi-family residential projects.
