The role requires a post-secondary degree in finance or business, MFDA license, and PFP/CFP designation with 5+ years in banking, plus travel to various branches as needed to cover leadership gaps.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in finance, business, or related program.
• PFP or CFP designation required.
• Maintain designation through ongoing education.
• Mutual Funds license under MFDA required.
• 5+ years of banking experience with increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support branch operations with the Branch Manager, including facilities, budgets, and strategy initiatives.
• Oversee risk controls and audit functions to ensure policy compliance and accuracy of branch communications.
• Lead cash management and branch opening/closing procedures; review reports for compliance.
• Develop centers of influence outside the branch to support referrals and business development.
• Grow membership and cross-sell financial products, including wealth solutions where appropriate.
• Coordinate wealth management referrals for more complex investment needs.
• Coach and develop direct reports with regular performance reviews and feedback.
• Identify training needs and create development plans for staff.
• Travel to other branches as needed to cover absences.
