Job summary

Alterna Savings & Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a Manager Personal Finance (MPF) to support the Branch Manager in strategic sales, service organization, and staff leadership. You will coach a team of sales professionals to achieve referrals, sales, and service targets while ensuring service quality for members.

The MPF role emphasizes performance coaching, planning, and compliance, with collaboration across branches and Head Office to sustain growth and a high standard of member experience.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of sales process and sales management.
• Coaching principles and staff development experience.
• Completion of CSC or IFIC is preferred.
• University degree or college diploma with 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of credit granting principles and investment products.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching, monitoring and supervision to a team of sales-oriented staff to meet targets.
• Assist in planning and monitoring the Branch Annual Operating Plan.
• Oversee cash and custody controls and risk/compliance procedures.
• Audit and monitor Branch Reports.
• Coordinate and administer sales campaigns with Branch Manager.
• Resolve member issues to meet needs and maintain loyalty.
