Position Overview

We are seeking an individual to join our team in the Calgary office. As an Assistant, the incumbent will contribute to growing the business by providing support to the Investment Advisor(s), ensuring high-level client service, and effective functioning of the team through administrative tasks.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Investment Advisor Support : Responsible for professional servicing of incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, Advisors, and other partners. Assist in preparing account documentation, client reviews, presentations, correspondence, reports, NAAF, and KYC updates. Support in preparing client meetings, Tax Packages, Maximizer Data Integrity, and other administrative tasks.
  • Client Service : Foster and support client relationships. Respond to client inquiries, investigate and resolve account-related issues, request necessary documentation, and follow up on trades for proper settlement.
  • Administration : Maintain expense records, handle filing, and perform general administrative duties. Adhere to professional standards and internal processes.

  • Superior client relationship management skills
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Relevant financial or administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems like Maximizer
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work within deadlines
  • Teamwork ability and quick learner of new technologies

Education

  • Post-secondary education
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) are assets
