Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Woodstock, Ontario is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help create a safe, secure store environment by following Asset Protection standards and reporting anomalies.

You will conduct store patrols, investigate shrink, support emergency procedures, and participate in external apprehensions as needed, with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include age 16 or older.
• Security Guard License required.

Responsibilities

• Daily patrols to maintain a safe, secure store environment.
• Verify doors, showcases and security features function properly.
• Investigate shrink incidents and report findings to store leadership.
• Escalate investigations to Market Loss Prevention Manager per guidelines.
• Support investigations of internal/external theft and organized retail crime.
• Assist with store evacuation and emergency procedures when needed.
• Participate in store task teams to support operations.
• Perform external apprehensions in line with policies and law.
• Communicate information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Take on additional duties to meet evolving Asset Protection needs.
• Be available for evenings, weekends and holiday shifts.
• Adapt to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service.
