Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp. in Sherbrooke, QC is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and associates. You will conduct patrols, investigate shrink, and support emergency procedures to protect people and merchandise.

Responsibilities include external apprehensions when needed, effective communication with leadership, and contributing to store profitability while working varying shifts to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigates incidents of financial and physical shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents such as fire or other emergencies.
• Carries out external apprehensions when required, in compliance with Company policies and legal standards.
• Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources, clearly explaining issues and findings to leadership and other stakeholders while presenting relevant perspectives.
• Completes additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs and Asset Protection priorities.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
