Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Previous assembly or machine operation experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Experience reading work instructions, drawings, or blueprints.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Modern manufacturing facility located in the Greater Hamilton Area.
  • Safety-focused workplace with comprehensive PPE requirements.
  • Physically active role involving standing, lifting, repetitive tasks, and material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components according to work instructions, technical drawings, and production specifications.
  • Inspect materials and completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Operate material handling equipment and production tools safely.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Identify and report production or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production targets.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.

The Opportunity

As an Assembly Operator, you'll be responsible for assembling precision components according to production specifications while maintaining quality standards and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.
