Mechanical Assemblers - Day Shift

Job description: Reporting directly to their Team-Lead, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing and troubleshooting packaging equipment. The mechanical assembler will work in conjunction with other departments such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation packaging, QC, and testing. The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Referring to technical drawings to assemble various components

- Collaborate with other assemblers and engineers to problem solve and improve builds

- Install, assemble, adjust and align mechanical components at various stages of production (ex: drilling, cutting, etc.)

- Evaluate whether the components and machine operate according to specifications

- Help with any related tasks (Ex: crating, cleaning of machines, etc)

Required :

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler or Electromechanic; ideally possesses experience with pneumatic components
• Ability to read plans using Metric (Meters/CM) and Imperial System (Inches/feet)
• Ability to work standing and in different positions for 8hour shifts + ability to lift up to 30-40lbs
• Possesses their own set of tools
• Possesses a DEP in Electromechanic or Industrial Mechanical (nice to have)

Salaries: 25 to 30$/hour + benefits

Shift: Days - Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4pm

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
