Job summary

MDA Space in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, seeks an Electromechanical Assembler to build and test electromechanical products. You will prepare components, solder, assemble TH and SMT boards, and operate inspection and assembly equipment.

The role requires a college diploma or vocational diploma in electromechanical or related field and 2–5 years of relevant experience. French is essential; English is an asset. Candidates must be capable of obtaining security clearance for CGP.

Minimum Qualifications:

• College diploma or secondary school vocational diploma in one of the following fields: electromechanical, mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of the principle of tolerances and geometrical dimensions.
• Knowledge of standards IPC-A-610
• Ability to recover and enter data with a computer system.
• Use of production databases.
• Good knowledge of French. Basic knowledge of English is an asset (Contact with customers outside Quebec).
