The selected candidate must start work promptly. The available positions are for Permanent employment or full-time jobs. The candidate must be available to work day and evening shifts, as well as on a shift basis.
- The candidate will be responsible for making minor adjustments and repairs to wood products.
- The candidate must assemble door panels, trusses, or modular components to create prefabricated housing.
- The candidate must be able to read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings.
- The candidate will be responsible for packing items for shipment and distribution.
- The candidate must reinforce assembled products with doweling or other supports.
- The candidate will be responsible for inspecting wood products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- The candidate will be responsible for trimming, smoothing, and shaping surfaces.
- The candidate must train staff.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience operating overhead cranes, power tools, small hand tools, pneumatic devices, and precision measuring instruments.
Area of work experience
- The candidate must have work experience in assembly line operations, framing and shingling, and truss manufacturing and building.
