Job summary

AROW Global is hiring for MV Assembler in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role focuses on day-to-day production, packaging and assembly of transit bus windows in a fast-paced environment.

We offer comprehensive benefits, pension matching and advancement opportunities. Evening and day shifts are available with starting wages of CA$18.25 and CA$17.65 per hour respectively, with 100% employer-paid coverage for health, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (2 openings)- Starting wage $18.25/hour

The MV Assembler position offers support and takes the lead in the day-to-day production, packaging, and assembly of transit bus windows. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

The Successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materials.
• Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, which requires physical strength and stamina.
• Use of precision measurement instruments.
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Performing quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:

• Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously when required.
• The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read/interpret drawings/breakdowns.
• Understanding the importance of producing quality products.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
