Job summary

AROW Global Corp in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking General Labourers for our OEM department. You will work with metal-fabricated parts, performing packing, deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, and preparing parts for shipment based on work orders and quality requirements.

Starting wage is $17.65 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will read drawings and breakdowns, use precision measurement instruments, and assist the production team to meet deadlines while maintaining safety

Job description

AROW Global LTD. Winnipeg, MB, is currently looking for General Labourers in our OEM department. In this department, you will be working with metal-fabricated parts used in various industries. Job duties can include packaging, deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, and preparing parts for shipment based on work order and quality requirements.

Summary Openings

• Days (1 opening) Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm- Starting wage $17.65/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The ability to read/interpret drawings/ and breakdowns
• The ability to use precision measurement instruments
• Assist the production team depending on the type of duty they are performing
• Working in a team environment where everyone works together to complete orders on time
• Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, requires physical strength and stamina
• Understanding the importance of producing quality products
• The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Wear all necessary PPE required for all positions

Skills, Qualifications, and Physical Requirements

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Company is considered an asset
• Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously when required
