Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler - Level 1 at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. You will assemble and inspect products to ensure quality, work with a team on a day shift, and operate machinery to meet production targets.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to work instructions to support our global operations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and prior assembly/manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with electronic assembly and reading blueprints.
  • Soldering experience under a microscope is preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and problem solving.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and follow instructions precisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
  • Good communication and basic computer skills.

Job description

As an Assembler -Level 1 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards. You will work as part of a team to efficiently produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements. You will report directly to our Sr ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our manufacturing facility in Cambridge, ON on the day shift 7:00 am to 3:15 pm (Monday- Friday) OR 8:15 am to 4:30 pm (Monday-Friday).

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the timely and accurate assembly of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble products according to work instructions and quality standards

  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications

  • Operate machinery and equipment as required

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance and CSP Clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • High school diploma or GED
WE VALUE
  • 2 years previous experience in assembly or manufacturing

  • Experience with electronic assembly

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Experience with soldering while working under a microscope

  • Knowledge of quality control processes

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

The annual base salary range for this position is $39,000 - $52,000 in Cambridge, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
