Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for Southern Ontario. You will work 12-hour shifts five days a week, with $25.00 per hour before overtime.

Contract duration ranges from 1 to 120 days, and hotel accommodation is provided when lodging is required, plus a $30 per diem and travel considerations if lodging is necessary. The role involves assembling parts, loading/unloading trucks, packing/unpacking orders, stocking products, and assisting with shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
• Ability to load and unload product
• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
