Placements24 is seeking a Junior Commercial Lawyer to join the Kimberley legal team. This entry-level role supports senior lawyers in drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting broad legal research, and assisting with various projects.

It offers a solid foundation for a career in commercial law in the Northern Cape region. You will work collaboratively in Kimberley, gain exposure to diverse commercial matters, and participate in a structured training and mentorship program.

Qualifications

Admitted Attorney with completed articles and focus on commercial law.
Solid grasp of contract principles and legal research.
Ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts with accuracy.
Proficiency in legal databases and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
Conduct legal research on various commercial law matters.
Support senior lawyers in litigation preparation and dispute resolution.
Assist with corporate secretarial duties and compliance tasks.
Manage legal documentation and maintain organized case files.
Provide administrative support to the legal department as required.
