Carleton Place Ford in Carleton Place, ON is seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join the Service Department. You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while progressing through your apprenticeship, under guidance from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice Technician or willingness to register.
• Strong interest in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience working on vehicles.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians in performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Complete oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and basic vehicle services.
• Learn and follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly use tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Support the Service Department in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
• Participate in training and apprenticeship development programs.
• Follow all dealership policies and workplace safety requirements.
