Job summary

A leading construction company in Timiskaming District is seeking a dedicated individual to ensure efficient plant operations. The role involves producing mixes, overseeing staff, and maintaining plant maintenance. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, able to work in a construction environment, and have the physical capability to lift heavy loads. This position offers competitive wages ranging from $28 to $33 per hour, with opportunities for growth and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

  • Flexibility to work overtime & weekends.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing mixes as required.
  • Monitoring the plant to ensure proper operations.
  • Oversee staff and produce daily reports.

Qualifications
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Working near/on construction sites
  • Daily exposure to construction environment (ex. Outside, noisy, fumes, duty environment)
  • Physically fit (ex. Able to walk, climb, drive day/night, reaching above/at/below shoulder height, bending/crouching, kneeling/crawling)
  • Ability to sit, stand or drive more than 90 minutes per day
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs/22.7 kg
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Has an OSSD or equivalent diploma
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Welding experience is considered an asset
  • Millwright or certified mechanic is an asset
  • Ability to analyze situations quickly and make prompt, sound decisions
  • Be a team player
  • Have flexibility to work overtime & weekends
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for producing mixes as required
  • Monitoring the plant to ensure proper and efficient plant operations
  • Maintain proper plant maintenance
  • Tracking day‑to‑day operations
  • Oversee staff
  • Produce daily reports as required
  • Other duties as required

Compensation Data

$28-$33 per hour.
