Job summary

The Crupi Group is seeking a Paver Operator to join the on-site paving crew in Toronto and the GTA. Reporting to the Foreman and Supervisor, you will help complete projects safely with high workmanship.

This seasonal, union-position runs April to December, with winter snow removal roles. The role requires 5+ years of paving experience and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paving experience.
• Flexible shifts: days, evenings and nights.
• Able to work at multiple sites in Toronto and the GTA.

Responsibilities

• Operate the spreader, coordinating with crew members.
• Work safely with superior workmanship.
• Report to Foreman and Supervisor on site.

Job description

Reporting to the Foreman and Supervisor on site, the Paver Operator works together with other paving crew members to complete assigned paving projects safely, and by providing excellent service and superior workmanship.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Operate the spreader, while collaborating with other crew members.
• At least 5 years of previous relevant experience.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts. Days, evenings and nights are required at various times throughout the season.
• Able to work at a variety of site locations in Toronto and the GTA.

Compensation

$52.79/hour (a graduated trainee rate may apply)

This is a unionized position, with Local 793.

Seasonality

Seasonal full-time from April/May to December. We offer snow removal positions during the winter season.
