Job description

Park Paving Ltd. - Milling Crew Foreman

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years, making it one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are currently seeking an Experienced Milling Crew Foreman to join our Asphalt Milling Division for the 2025 construction season.

This is a full-time seasonal position offering competitive wages.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience operating Wirtgen cold milling equipment
• Leadership experience, managing crews, ordering materials, supplies, and trucking
• Experience with various asphalt milling procedures, from highway work to small in-town tie-ins
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills in fast-paced, complex environments
• Ability to work long hours, including day and night shifts
• Some out-of-town work is expected during the season
• Ensure crews work safely and productively
• Complete safety documentation, including daily safety meetings, inspections, and permits
• Must be physically fit to perform repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods

Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, high-pressure environment. They will possess a valid driver’s license, a strong drive to contribute to the team’s success, and the ability to work collaboratively with operators and crew members. Maintaining a safety-minded, high-accountability work culture while fostering a positive and respectful environment is essential.

Additional Conditions:

• Must have a driving record free of major infractions
• Must pass a medical/fitness exam as a condition of employment
