Job summary

BA Blacktop Ltd. in Fraser Valley area is looking for an asphalt laydown technician to join our road construction crew. You will operate asphalt pavers, rollers, and related equipment, and help ensure proper placement and compaction of asphalt.

Responsibilities include inspecting surfaces for smoothness and adherence to project specs, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in asphalt laydown or related field.
• Proficiency in operating asphalt pavers, rollers, and other related equipment.
• Understanding of asphalt materials and their properties.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
