Mission principale

Relevant du Directeur artistique, l'ARTISTE TECHNIQUE sera responsable de créer des outils qui faciliteront la production artistique. Tu innoves et résous les problèmes techniques artistiques pour le développement d’outils utilisés dans la production de Outlast afin d’améliorer les processus de travail. Tu travailleras en étroite collaboration avec la direction artistique, la direction technique, les autres artistes et les programmeurs. La date d'entrée est prévue pour août 2025.

Tâches et missions
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe de production pour être efficace dans la création et le maintien de la vision du jeu.
  • Repérer les problématiques et les régler avec proactivité.
  • Maintenir et assurer l’intégration des systèmes mis en place dans la production.
  • Créer des outils et des scripts pour assister le développement du jeu et la production.
  • Analyser les exigences artistiques et mettre en place des solutions techniques appropriées.
  • Optimiser les éléments de performances visuelles du jeu en conciliant esthétique et fonctionnalité.
Profil
  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire
  • Connaissances en programmation et scripting
  • Maîtrise d’Unreal et des Blueprints
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais
  • Capacité à faire du shading pour les matériaux

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the TECHNICAL ARTIST will be responsible for creating tools that facilitate artistic production. You will innovate and solve technical art problems by developing tools used in the production of Outlast, with the goal of improving workflow processes. You will collaborate closely with the art direction, technical direction, other artists, and programmers. Start date is planned for August 2025.

Tasks and Missions
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficiency in creating and maintaining the artistic vision of the game.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintain and ensure the integration of systems throughout production.
  • Design tools and scripts to support development and production.
  • Analyze artistic requirements and implement suitable technical solutions.
  • Optimize visual elements balancing aesthetics and technical constraints.
Profile Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge in programming and scripting
  • Proficiency in Unreal and Blueprints
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Ability to do shading for materials

  • A passion for video games!
  • Loving horror culture (movies, games, books, etc.)
