Job description

East Side Games is looking for an Intermediate Artist to join our dynamic Live Ops team, where you’ll have the opportunity to create content across three fantastic titles: Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money, Cheech and Chong Bud Farm and Bud Farm: Idle Tycoon! You’ll work hand in hand withthe Live Ops Art Lead and the rest of the Live Ops artists in creating lots of fun content for our amazing players to enjoy!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work collaboratively with the other disciplines in the creation of assets across the entire Content pipeline (from concept to release)
• Assist with the development of new game features
• Utilize the Adobe Suite, with a primary focus on vector art (Adobe Animate)
• Work in Unity to test and implement your optimized assets
• Create varied animations in Spine
• Research and analyze trends in the Mobile game industry so you can assist in providing the best player experience possible*** Duties and responsibilities outlined above are representative, but not all-inclusive

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in Game Development, or related industries. Mobile, F2P, or Idle game experience is a HUGE plus!
• A strong understanding of Character Design principles and the ability to create dynamic expressions and poses
• An understanding of perspective/composition and experience using those fundamentals in the creation of backgrounds or environments
• Production-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Animate and Photoshop)
• Working knowledge of Unity. Experience working with Spine is a bonus
• A portfolio of polished 2D work that showcases a range of character design, environment and prop examples (examples of vector artwork a bonus)
• Examples of concept work that demonstrate your iterative approach to development
• Ability to manage your time and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic studio
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal

Compensation Range: $70K-$80K per annum. Salary is determined by experience, skills, and capabilities.
