Job summary

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is seeking articulated vacuum truck operators to join the safety conscious team at Suncor Fort Hills. A FULL Class 5 license is required. Local 362 Teamsters union position with day/night rotation and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include safe operation, inspections, paperwork, and teamwork with customers and supervisors, while maintaining equipment cleanliness and contributing to a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Driver's License required.
• Articulated Rock Truck experience required.
• Minimum of 1-year oilfield or labor-intensive experience.
• Open mine driving experience and certification required.
• HEO Ticket required.
• Ability to work 14/14 rotation, 12 hour days
• Ability to work both day and night shift
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day, in a team and safety focused environment.
• Capable of working outside in various weather conditions.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Responsible for safely and efficiently operating units - drives, operates and stages units.
• Ensures cleanliness of equipment;
• Performs pre and post trip inspections.
• Completes all required paperwork;
• Attends daily safety meetings;
• Working as a part of a team with Customer, Coworkers & Supervisors.
