Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology in Toronto is launching a Graduate Development Program in Operations and Supply Chain. You will rotate through manufacturing, logistics and planning, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to build a foundation for leadership.

The program emphasizes lean principles, data-driven process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to deliver value to customers and support Armstrong's global growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing or related field.
• Internship or co-op in operations or supply chain valued.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem solving.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and MS Word/PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• 18-month rotational journey across production, materials, logistics, procurement, and demand planning.
• Apply lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

What We're Looking For

• Education - A recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Candidates with a dual background in Engineering and Business/Operations Management are encouraged to apply.
• Early Exposure to Operations or Supply Chain - Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in areas such as production planning, process improvement, logistics, procurement, or quality management is highly valued.
• Process & Analytical Skills - Strong problem-solving ability with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process mapping through coursework or projects; able to analyze data and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Digital & Technical Skills - Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), data visualization tools, or simulation software is an asset.
• Communication Skills - Clear and confident written and verbal communication; able to document processes, share findings, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Team Orientation - Demonstrated ability to collaborate in group projects, labs, internships, or student organizations where teamwork was critical to success.
