Job summary

The City of Weyburn Leisure Department is seeking a Facility Operator (Permanent Full-Time) to join our team. You will perform janitorial, building, and arena maintenance duties, support program needs, and assist with building systems operations.

A positive customer-focused approach is essential as you interact with the public and staff. Outlook includes varied shifts to support programs, ongoing skill upgrades to meet operational requirements, and a commitment to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strength in interpersonal savvy and customer service.
• Knowledge of Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations as they pertain to public buildings.
• Previous building or arena experience would be an asset.
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial, building, and arena maintenance duties and custodial services.
• Carry out requirements to accommodate a variety of programs.
• Assist with record keeping and operation/maintenance of building systems.
• Maintain a positive attitude and customer care with the public and staff.
• Work a variety of shifts to accommodate programs and services.
• Upgrade knowledge and skills to comply with operational requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
