Job summary

Kurita Europe GmbH is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the greater Toronto territory with travel across Southwestern Ontario. The role involves managing accounts, leading a small Tech Services and Sellers team, and delivering consultative water treatment solutions.

Based from a home office with 80–100% travel, you will engage with operations, maintenance, and management, develop quotes, and drive growth for the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales and technical experience in water treatment.
• Must hold a Class G license (company vehicle provided).
• Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an existing customer base while expanding in Southwestern Ontario.
• Lead a small team of Tech Services and Sellers (2–5 direct reports).
• Develop quotes and proposals; support operations, maintenance, and management.
• Provide consultative water treatment services across industries.
• Travel 80–100% within territory to service clients and close deals.

We have an immediate need for an Area Sales Manager to cover the greater Toronto territory. Growth potential within organization and working directly with great clients in the water industry

Territory: Toronto/ Kitchener Ontario area throughout Southwestern Ontario. This position is based out of a home office.

Travel within Territory: 80-100%

Salary: $90K to $110K (CAD) plus Commissions

• Maintain an existing customer base, develop new business and manage a small sales and service team.
• Manage existing accounts via direct onsite service and technical support
• Work directly with customer operations, maintenance and management
• Develop and maintain strong customer/client relationship
• Responsibility include consultive services on Water Treatment chemical and equipment applications in a variety of industries and processes
• Sales Growth and new customer development responsibilities
• Manage and support Tech Services in smaller accounts in the territory
• Respond to any customer emergency
• Able to multitask and manage a large account base.
• Develop quotes and proposals for lateral and new sales
• Communicate effectively with larger customers understanding their business needs
• Report direct to Regional Manager
• Manager small team of Tech Services and Sellers – 2 -5 direct reports.
• Assist in new business growth, quote preparation, sales growth.
• Troubleshot issues with team
• Assist in meeting growth goals of individuals and team.
• Report directly to Regional Manager

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Degree or CWT Preferred
• 10 plus Years Sales and Technical Experience in water treatment industry
• Must have a Class G license in good standing. Company Vehicle is provided.
