A global technology company seeks an Area Manager for Maintenance & HSE in Hawkesbury, Ontario. The role includes supervising maintenance operations, managing HSE compliance, and leading technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and significant experience in industrial maintenance and safety management, combined with strong leadership skills.

Area Manager, Maintenance & HSE

Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing two key functions within the plant: the mechanical maintenance of equipment and the health, safety and environment (HSE). The person in this role supervises technical teams, plans maintenance projects, manages capital investments (CAPEX), and ensures the proper functioning of facilities. In parallel, they act as the HSE leader for all employees, including managers, unionized staff, and contractors. They administer the HSE management system, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a proactive culture of safety, prevention, and operational reliability.
