Within an agile team, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of data collection and business process automation processes. They will also participate in the implementation of a web portal for the management of retirement solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze current and future needs: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the project's functional and technical requirements.
  • Study and understand existing code: Familiarize yourself with the architecture and code of the current solution to ensure effective integration and maintenance.
  • Develop according to the software development life cycle (SDLC): Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the software solution: Perform rigorous tests and validate the results to guarantee the quality and performance of the applications developed.
Required
  • Background in computer science or software engineering, with at least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Software development in C#, Microsoft .NET Core, or .NET Framework, using Visual Studio
    • Development of web applications with Angular (including previous versions such as AngularJS) or a similar JavaScript framework (React, Vue, etc.).
    • Deployment to different environments with subsystems using one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy.
    • REST API development.
    • Development using HTML and CSS.
    • Bilingual (French / English).
Assets
  • Set up pipelines with scripting in Helm and YAML/YML.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database development (MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of web service development, WebAPI, WCF.
  • Experience in ASP.NET development.
  • Knowledge of the unit test development cycle (Cypress, Protractor or others).
  • Experience in an agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software architecture techniques and industry best practices.
