Job summary

Northern Lights School Division #113 is hiring for a full-time maintenance role in La Ronge. The position requires Grade 12, a fireman's certificate, and 4 years of building trades experience. Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads and operate tools safely.

The successful applicant will join a team maintaining school facilities, with a comprehensive benefits package and a tool allowance provided. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent diploma.
• Valid fireman's certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in one or more of the building trades.
• Computer knowledge.
• Valid Driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required to perform assigned work.
• Ability to produce quality work.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other trades and contractors.
• Ability to do heavy work (exert 100lbs of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs of force frequently and 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects).
