Job summary

Simons in Vancouver seeks an Area Director to oversee daily store management across departments. You will coach managers and staff to deliver exceptional customer service in the Simons way, and help align store operations with the fashion vision.

Lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional team, manage schedules, inventories, and displays, and partner with buying to keep product presentations on point. Bachelor’s required; 7–10 years in retail leadership preferred; bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

7–10 years in retail leadership, minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
Bilingualism is an asset.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Technologically advanced and comfortable with digital tools.
Detail-driven with focus on operations and presentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store management for multiple departments.
Coach managers and employees to deliver exceptional customer service.
Lead and train staff to execute displays, merchandising, and inventory controls.
Set and monitor schedules, staffing levels, and store coverage.
Collaborate with buying to ensure displays are on point and on brand.
Address daily operational issues and maintain smooth store operations.
