Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced ArchitecturalTechnologist to join a BC-based firm relocating candidates from Quebec to the Okanagan region. The role focuses on producing and coordinating Design Development and Construction Documents for a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community projects.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in practice, strong Revit skills, and a solid understanding of Canadian codes.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in an architectural practice.
• Experience delivering Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Strong Revit expertise and coordination with consultants.
• Knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction detailing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Design Development and Construction Documents
• Produce high quality architectural drawings and BIM models using Revit
• Coordinate documentation with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and specialty consultants
• Prepare permit submissions, tender packages, and construction documentation
• Assist with building code analysis and technical detailing
• Participate in drawing reviews and quality control processes
• Support contract administration and technical coordination through project delivery
• Resolve technical and production challenges during all project phases
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors
• Contribute to successful delivery of commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community projects
