Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks an experienced Registered Architect to lead diverse projects across commercial, multifamily, institutional and community sectors, with relocation to British Columbia's Interior Region. You will partner with senior leadership, manage design through construction, and direct design development, documentation and client coordination.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of multi-phase project delivery, strong Revit skills, and a collaborative approach to drive ownership, client

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with AAA/AIBC or provincial board and willing to transfer to AIBC.
• Minimum 5 years delivering architectural projects through all phases.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, organization and client relationship skills.
• Open to relocating to British Columbia's Interior Region.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare and review design packages, permit drawings and construction documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and quality control across multiple projects.
• Lead client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support Contract Administration, including RFIs, submittals, site reviews and change documentation.
• Mentor junior architectural and technical staff.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, regulations and firm standards.
