We are actively seeking a dedicated Architectural Technologist to join our team, contributing to the overall success of the Design department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks with a focus on precision and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of accuracy are essential for success in this position. This position will be held at our head office in Springfield, Manitoba, just a few minutes outside of the city of Winnipeg.

What You Will Do:

• Transform conceptual and schematic designs into detailed construction documents using Revit.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards and perform routine drafting and technical tasks as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the preparation of schematic designs, design development, construction documentation, and any supplementary drawings.
• Assist in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with office production requirements, including format and special specifications.
• Coordinate working drawing information with Senior Technologists and support the Project Lead in the integration of construction documents across all relevant disciplines.
• Collaborate as part of an integrated project delivery team.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Utilize Revit to produce 3D models and drawings as needed.

What You Will Bring:

• A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in architectural technology or a related discipline.
• Certification in CTTAM and/or ABTAM is considered an asset.
• At least 3-5 years of architectural drafting/design experience within the commercial or residential sectors is preferred
• High proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and producing construction documentation from 3D models, as well as experience with other relevant design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in reviewing and coordinating structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to finding solutions.
• Capable of meeting strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards.
