Your Opportunity

Your role as an Architectural Technologist on our professional Architecture team is to contribute to a team environment and assist clients in planning and creating fiscally responsible, award-winning designs. You will help design schematics focused on space programming and site planning, and develop construction documents including elevations, sections, and architectural details. You will also assist with innovative prototypes designed with sustainable products and green architecture principles.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Interpret sketches, drawings, codes, building programs, and other related materials.
2. Support the project team in developing design and construction documentation.
3. Assist in developing designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and visual formats.
4. Utilize BIM technologies to develop 3D models of buildings and components.
5. Research materials and building systems.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Understanding of Revit as a design tool.
• Basic experience with design software such as SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred.
• Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts effectively.
• Engage in creative and critical thinking.
• Interpret basic sketches, drawings, and building programs.
• Participate and collaborate in a project team setting.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD; experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Newforma is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Technical diploma in Building or Architectural Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 0-15 years of experience.

The position primarily involves office work but may include some field work.
