Project Technologist

Environmental Health and Safety Consulting Services

Regina, SK

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Consulting Team in our Regina office.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Complete assessments for hazardous materials, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances and workplace exposures
  • Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site-specific client concerns
  • Perform inspections and evaluate building systems and materials
  • Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke and fire
  • Use various types of equipment to record measurements and collect samples
  • Identify and sample suspect asbestos, lead, and PCB-containing materials
  • Interpret laboratory results
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and providing recommendations to address concerns
  • Inspect abatement and restoration contractors undertaking mould, asbestos and other hazardous materials remediation work to document that the work has been properly completed.
  • Collect and analyze Phase Contract Microscope (PCM) asbestos air samples
  • Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Consulting industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with building construction or maintenance is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and a personal vehicle required.
  • Availability to travel to clients’ sites throughout Saskatchewan
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours (occasional evening and weekends)
