Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and contract document production.

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Design team, in the Architecture Group, based in the Halifax office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

1. Candidate must be fluent in BIM 360, Revit and Microsoft Office applications as well as have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design with exceptional skills in the production and coordination of contract documents.
3. Candidates must also have a thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing, with the ability to work independently, developing and coordinating contract documents and document checking.
4. Work in a collaborative environment with the Project Manager, Architect, and other Technical and Design Staff.
5. Complete technical drawings in Revit.
6. Additional duties as determined based on the knowledge and experience of the applicant.

What your experience looks like

1. 5+ years' experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
2. Proficient in Revit producing technical documents and construction drawings.
3. Understanding of current building systems, materials, and all codes in practice.
4. Knowledge and understanding of architectural standards, building sciences, construction technologies and practices.
5. Able to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of architectural designs for innovative multi-disciplinary projects.
6. Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
7. Dedicated to meeting project deadlines and working efficiently.
8. Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
9. Able to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Able to provide and receive feedback positively.
