Job summary

Sophie’s Flats in Ontario, Canada is seeking an Architectural Designer to create detailed plans and 3D models for ADU projects. You will develop concepts balancing form, function, and code compliance, and produce permit-ready documents.

You will collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, research materials and sustainable options, and present designs clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Creativity, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Ontario building codes, zoning, and permitting processes.
• Experience or interest in residential architecture or ADUs is an advantage.
