Job summary

Gensler is seeking an experienced Architect in Toronto to lead a team of architects and technical designers, driving client projects from concept through build. You will oversee coordination across disciplines, ensure compliance with codes, and guide innovative design solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a professional architecture degree, 10+ years in commercial design, licensure, and proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in a commercial design firm.
  • Experience in lifestyle projects (retail, hospitality, entertainment, etc.).
  • Licensed Architect.
  • Experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
  • LEED, WELL, Passive House, or related accreditation preferred.

What You Will Do
  • Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.

The base salary range will be estimated between $98,500 - $120,000.

Gensler’s total compensation package is multi-layered and includes a base salary, two annual bonuses paid in December and June.
