Job summary

Gensler is seeking an experienced Architect in Toronto to lead a team of architects and designers from concept through build on high-profile commercial projects.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, produce design and technical drawings, and provide innovative solutions while guiding project manuals and site documentation through construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect.
• LEED, WELL, Passive House or related accreditation preferred.

What You Will Do

• Involvement in client, team and project coordination, including documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and all authorities having jurisdiction
• Produce design and technical drawings
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
• Maintain project manual and specifications
• Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect
• 8 + years of experience in a commercial design firm
• Experience in commercial office buildings, building transformations, mixed-use, and/or high rise residential preferred
• Experience with Revit required, plus experience with Bluebeam Revu, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.
• LEED, WELL, Passive House or related accreditation preferred

**The base salary range will be estimated between $82,500 to $95,000.
